From Beginner to Pro – The Guide Is Online!

The first week is behind us. There has been plenty of feedback and a number of adjustments to the layout, the design in general and various functions. Now the first new "feature" from the wish list goes live: the guide.

What is the guide?

In short, it is meant to help everyone who would like to organize their own event. It draws on a lot of experience, as well as various pieces of advice. Nothing in it is set in stone; it is simply meant to give you some orientation. What do you need to think about? Who should you contact? How should the schedule be planned? And what exactly does a spotter do? You will find this and much more there.

Our goal is to bring experience together and make it accessible to everyone, in the hope that there will be even more great events in the future. For that we also depend on your feedback: suggestions for improvement, constructive criticism, or simply a thank-you now and then. Feel free to approach us directly or use the contact form. After all, that is what makes a community: togetherness, caring for one another and exchanging ideas. A website that everyone can use and that benefits everyone.

On the new page you will also find a downloadable document that serves as a checklist, so that nothing is forgotten during planning. Whether you use it or simply put the advice into practice is of course up to you. Processes can always be optimized further, but as they like to say in IT: "Never change a running system". It means that if processes are working well, there is no need to change them.
